12-inch midbass for high-power mid-bass sound reproduction systems in both horn and
direct radiation (bass and sealed reflectors). It has high efficiency, low power compression rate and high fidelity.
The movable coil is 100 mm (4 ") in diameter, round aluminum wire wound in Kapton form and special adhesives to support high
power levels.
The magnetic set was developed using finite element software.
It has a symmetrical magnetic field and uses a short copper ring in the inter-iron to minimize harmonic distortion.
The molded half-wave suspension ring impregnated with special resins improves acoustic coupling with the cone, reducing distortion and producing stationary waves. The spider was
developed following the same principles, so as to move symmetrically together with the ring of the suspension.
The cone, made of long fibers and impregnated with special resins, guarantees the stability and perfect
frequencies.
The housing, injected in aluminum, guarantees structural rigidity, prevents losses of magnetic flux and improves the system of heat dissipation generated by the mobile coil.
